Many of the most promising answers to local problems start with a young person and a handful of neighbors, classmates or friends. They know their community from the inside. They have already started the work. What they do not yet have is a track record, and most funders wait for one.
That leaves a gap at the very beginning, when an organization has no audited accounts, no paid staff and few connections beyond its own community. At this point a good mentor, a peer who has been there or a single introduction can decide whether an idea survives.
Humble World Network works in that gap. Like an accelerator in the business world, we surround emerging leaders with a community of peers and mentors, build the practical skills a lasting organization needs, and help them become ready for the funders and partners that come next.
